The beautiful smile of owner Helena Giesea meets you at the door of Charizma Wine Lounge & Deli. It really doesn't seem like a deli anymore, although that is what it once was in one of its previous incarnations. Charizma feels like a warm, eclectic, fun, casual European bistro. The decor is a combination of wood, river rock, colorful walls, comfy couches, wing back chairs, antique coffee tables mixed with nooks for two, benches with tables for sprawling, family dining sets of Danish design, and other imaginative seating arrangements. Let's put it this way: anything you think you'd like is there for your comfort.

The food is meticuously prepared. Each piece of bread cut just so and heated to the perfect temperature. Each lettuce leaf arranged on the plate with a grape or a cherry or other tasty bit for just the right eye appeal. You eat with your eyes first at Charizma.

Precise care is taken for every aspect of the meal. Come here to relax and enjoy the evening with someone you love or at least like a lot. If you're looking for a place to enjoy a glass of wine, a creative cheese plate, a fresh salad, and soup while listening to live jazz, you've found it at Charizma. Add to that a great onion breaded flat iron steak with blue cheese fried potatoes served on a plank. Enjoy a freshly brewed cup of coffee with one of the house made desserts. This is not fast food. This is food to be eaten with a whole bottle of wine and conversation. You'll never be rushed here. Take the time to savor Charizma.
