I started Sonoma.net in 1995 as a pioneering web design and marketing company. We had a lot of fun and along the way created an early social network at seniors.com and blazed a painful trail through the early e-commerce forest. This sonoma.net site began as a directory and community site serving all of Sonoma County.

Dave RobertsTimes change and Google, Yelp, and other sites have done a great job making it easier to find businesses and other services you are looking for.

I have shifted the site focus to Sonoma County real estate. It was an easy decision. I love Sonoma County, one of the most beautiful and friendly places I have ever been. I love the landscape and the traditional farmhouses, Victorians, cabins, and barns that dot our vineyards and forests.  As a real estate agent with Healdsburg Sotheby’s International Realty, most of my current listings are for acreage in the Healdsburg area and that’s where I spend most of my time.

However, a big part of my business is representing buyers.  They steer me in ways that are often unexpected,  so when they find a site they love in Napa County or in Bodega Bay, I’m there to help them.  A typical client relationship  starts with multiple site visits to potential purchases. If the real estate angels are smiling on us, the site visits turn into contracts, inspections, and dealings with lenders, appraisers, title companies, and the whole host of people that touch each transaction. My job is to make that process uneventful.
